                Objective: <\/strong><\/p>

                • To improve knowledge in internal and external geodynamics in our environment with a variety of related science tools such as geomatics, geochemistry, geochronology, among others, oriented towards the solution of scientific, technological, and socio-economic problems, which may have a national, regional, or even global scope. The application of knowledge in geosciences to be able to effectively and efficiently manage geological hazards, hydrometeorological or oceanographic, apply their own designs of mitigation works to reduce vulnerabilities and potential risks.<\/li>
                • Monitor and measure natural phenomena to subsequently model them numerically and even on a small physical scale, to be able to interpolate the scope of various natural processes (including climate change) and their development in the short and medium term future.<\/li>
                • Understand and socialize the scope of threats of different origins (natural and anthropogenic) in order to apply fair, equitable and sustainable planning and territorial ordering.<\/li><\/ul>
